These images were created in collaboration with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), machine learning programs trained by the artist to recognize patterns within pornographic imagery and generate their own visual outcomes.

In this collaborative process between machine and human, the coded structures of pornography are transformed to construct new forms of sexuality and pleasure. The semantic precision of pornographic images becomes abstraction; the pose turns into a possibility for interpretation; high definition collapses into digital errors; and literalness dissolves into enigma.
